Barbell

A. Clean and Jerk – 2 sets x 2 reps at each percentage
65%, 70%, 75%, 80%

B. Front squat, 4×3 (85%, 90%, 95%, 100% of clean)

Conditioning

C. AMRAP 8
15 wall balls (20, 14)
6 ring muscle ups

  1. Haven’t been able to make it into the gym lately. Worked out from home today.

    A) 165/175/190/205

    For some reason i was playing around with foot position. Felt good for the first few percentages, but didn’t feel as clean for the last 2 sets

    B) 215/225/240/255

    Surprised at how heavy these felt.

    C) 3 rounds

    No wall ball at home so subbed 15 thrusters at 95#. UB thrusters. Muscle ups did not go well. No sets higher than 2. Had a handful of misses. Round times were:

  2. A. Stuck with percentages. Ended at 153#. Felt somewhat sloppy

    B. 160-170-180-190. 190 got really tough, bad form on the last one but was able to stand it

    C. Stuck with Rx today as I felt that would be the right stimulus instead of taking too much rest for 6 RMU. Goal was to keep the 3 RMU unbroken and I was able to do that. Actually I kept it all unbroken. Missed the last RMU of the 5th round. Happy with how this went!
